Announcing Our New Name
We are thrilled to share our new name, Terra School at Serenbe.
Our name and emblem, embodies our Community-Based School, fostering a sense of connectedness to our land and environment here in Serenbe and Chattahoochee Hills. Within the emblem the Sun Over the Hills reflects our location in Chattahoochee Hills as well as the campus' placement between Sunset Point and Sunrise Knob. The Loblolly Pine Trees are indigenous to our area and some of the fastest growing pine trees, similar to our ever growing learners. The emblem's components also convey a dual representation, with the Sun symbolizing our youngest learners (lower school) on the rise and the Tree embodying strong roots and the growth of older learners (upper school).
In addition - we now have a school mascot - the Terra Bobcats! Every learner from Toddler through High School had a hand in this process - first by researching animals that are indigenous to our area, and then by voting to decide the winner.
We look forward to sharing more about our school and its evolution soon.
